Nigun Gaaguim

This is the niggun of Rabbi Meir Shlomo Yanovsky, the Rebbe's grandfather. Rabbi Meir Shlomo was the Rov in the city of Nikolayev, where the Rebbe was born. Rabbi Meir Shlomo has a couple other niggunim, such as Vayanchiem Lovetach, and Rachamana, a niggun the Rebbe taught. Rabbi Meir Shlomo was a Yoshev, or as it is called in Yiddish, " A Zitzer" in the Yeshivah of the Rebbe Maharash, following his wedding. From this, Rabbi Meir Shlomo took on the position of Rov of Nikolayev, succeeding his grandfather, Rabbi Avrohom Dovid Lavut. Rabbi Meir Shlom passed away on the 23 of Elul 5697/1937 Reply
