Remove All Obstacles: Megillat Rut in Depth: Chapter 4, Lesson 1
With great alacrity, Boaz moves to fulfill his promise. But obstacles must first be overcome, as to marry Ruth, first he must get a phantom Uncle Tov to step aside! The righteous do their part and that causes Hashem to do His. Divine Providence miraculously arranges the meeting, and then the action begins!

Uncle "Tov" came not out of nothing, it was again the mighty hand of Hashem - His response to the faith of Boaz. For the Lord response to the cry of a humble man but a proud man He will abase and let him go empty handed. Boaz's thoughts were righteousness and preserving of life of Ruth and the same is concern of God for all His children, so seeing Boaz his mind, Hashem responded in kind.
