From Tragedy Into Joy

I think God did not set up the world like this. I think He set it up to be like it was in the Garden of Eden. He even saw Himself that it was GOOD. He gave us one instuction i guess you can also call it a Law. He also gave us freedom to CHOOSE, to listen or not. If we would have listened cause He knows better for us we would have climbed higher and higher and eventally become God "like" not God. He also gave us freedom of choice, we did not know the consequences of our choices at that stage. And then He dished them out. After much ado He saw we needed another 7 and so He set up the world for those,and then another 10 and so He set up the world for those.All down the line we broke the Laws. Look how low we have come, and now all thats left is to get back to the Garden. And the way we can do it is to obey the 7 and for the Jews the 10. There are non so blind as those who wont see and there are millions. Look at the consequences. Wars, earthquakes disease poverty starvation droughts ..... Reply

almond staff and tribe leaders Rabbi;
Perhaps a connection of the almond staff and the tribal leaders has to do with Aarons staff, which was also almond. Perhaps it is saying something about a leaders role of peacemaker and unifier. That Torah without unity is exile as scene by Aarons staff being in the Aron with the tablets. I have often wondered why the town of bersheva which was once called Luz is almost always mentioned as the town that was once called Luz after its name was changed.
