i agree True love is intimate and private

I think though that there is nothing wrong with having a extroverted personality if that is who you really are and are not doing it just for show. Reply

self-esteem and teshuvah I would suggest, humbly, that a person with with healthy self-esteem is more capable to rise to humility, and to love G-d and man, than folks with little or no self-esteem. I would really enjoy a course of study on healthy Jewish self-esteem and the connection to Teshuvah.

sharp trading If G-d made it so that every time we did good, there was an obvious reward, we could do no good at all. We would merely be sharp traders. Free will would be rendered impotent.
If i understand correctly, you made the exact same point about love. As you said, if a person does something nice for a loved one and then gives that person an "invoice" (demand for recognition), then it is recognition, not the person that is loved.
Please bring us more classes. Reply
