In summation: The claim that human understanding cannot grasp Chasidus is patently false and detrimental to serving G‑d Fortunate is the person who chooses the life of studying Chasidus, the life of service through prayer, the life of labor of the mind. G‑d created man with a purpose. He endowed him with mind and heart, to conceive and understand, to love and be merciful. All of one’s faculties must be subordinated to His service, refining one’s personality, studying Torah, service through worship, and actual performance of religious duties with inner spirit and enthusiasm.

If at one time it was possible to become G‑d-fearing without the knowledge or study of Chasidus, certainly in our own time, when an alien spirit pervades all segments of Jewry and libertarianism reigns unchallenged, when all parties and factions insist that the “Divine Presence speaks through their throats”—now there is no doubt that Chasidus is indispensable in teaching the Path to Life, and vital for the welfare of the soul itself.
A person who reveres the Word of G‑d and who desires the good life with Divine delights—now and in the Hereafter—must fix specific periods for studying Chasidus. He must study in order to observe; to fulfill the commandment of Love of fellow Jews; and to urge his acquaintances and friends to study Chasidus and to meet regularly with his fellow chasidim for mutual strengthening and encouragement. Thus will they “see the light that is good” and be blessed with all that is good.
