regarding your statements that Reuven, dovid, Shimshon and as stated "all tzadikim" never sinned despite the gemara stating sins they all did...
I don't understand why we need to stress that point and make that they are "above human" and justify all actions ... is it not more possible and respectable that the story is true and despite sinning the were tzadikim.
Making believe that what they did is not a sin but when we do something wrong is indeed a sin... seems like a double standard
He’s not suggesting they are “above human“. The Gemara Says that whoever attributes sin to them is in error. We often have the need to find their flaws to make ourselves feel better about our own shortcomings. The truth is however, that the oral Torah makes it clear that because of their high level, their minor in fractions are as unacceptable as simple sins for the average person. It is articulated in the language of simplistic sin because in our reality it has that severe connotation. And this way we retain the necessary reverence for these Giants Which is meant to inspire us, while simultaneously taking the lesson of self improvement.
