Chumash Classes: V'Zot HaBerachah

This is the last portion in the Torah. Introduction Moshe changes the tone of his words from admonitions to blessing and praise. (Ch. 33 verses 1 & 2)

A closer look at the words that Moshe spoke to the nation in this last portion of the Torah. Two of these verses are familiar to us and we can gain a better understanding of them! (Ch. 33 verses 3 - 6)

Moshe blessing the nation before his death. In this lecture he blesses the tribes of Yehudah and Levi. (Ch. 33 verses 7 - 10)

The blessing to the tribe of Levi, then it continues with Binyamin, and Yosef. (Ch. 33 verses 11 - 16)

Concludes the blessing to Yosef. It then continues with the blessing to the tribes of Zevulun and Yissacher. (Ch. 33 verses 16 - 19)

Moshe blesses the tribes of Gad, Dan, Naphtali, Ahsher, and concludes with a general blessing meant to extend to all the tribes! (Ch. 33 verses 20 - 29)

Moshe goes up to the top of Mt. Nevo where he views the land of Israel and blesses it. The Torah tells us that he died there, yet there are different opinions as to where he is buried and who buried him. (Ch. 34 verses 1 - 6)
