What is the origin of this tune and how did it become a Chabad nigun? Where can I find out more? Reply

in response to E:
Apparently it was originally a niggun from the Bobov Chassidic dynasty, and after WWII (possibly when many different Chassidic groups came together in DP camps) it was picked up by Chabad Chassidim. Reply

Thank you for this helpful info. Do you know who composed it and/or who brought it to Chabad?
Thanks.
