I simply can't agree with the unborn not only not requiring ritual slaughter but being permitted to be eaten to begin with! Judaism reveres the unborn!
Kosher is one of the mitzvot in the catagory of "chukim" the mitzvot that we are not ment to understand although reasons are given its not "THE" reason its something we could trust g-d he has a good reason :)
