Sukkah One should try and erect the Sukkah on a non-earth surface. If this is not possible, it is still permitted to have the Sukkah on the grass, although care should be taken that no liquid falls on the ground. Reply

what if someone eats in a sukkah and on shabbat? they should just eat on the concrete. Reply
