Bechukotai: Reward and Corrective Punishment; Donations
Leviticus 26:3–27:34
The 10th and final section of the Book of Leviticus opens as G‑d promises the Jewish people that if they follow His rules (Bechukotai, in Hebrew), they will be rewarded with material wealth and well-being. The opposite is also true: By neglecting G‑d’s laws, they will forfeit His blessings. G‑d then instructs the Jewish people regarding what, how, and under which circumstances they may donate to the Temple or to the priests.
