Thank you for this post. I did not get to synagogue to hear the Kol Nidre, and in the past I have been so disappointed in the rendition I have heard. It Hebert seems to have the passion, beauty and meaning the prayer is meant to have. So, I appreciate being given the chance to hear it how it's meant to be sung. Reply

From Spain Thank you. This was my only chance to hear the prayer and I was touched by the explanation given of its history. This sacred prayer enabled the Spanish Jews to continue living and practising their faith and traditions - I am living in Spain and this talk has given the Kol Nidre a poignancy and meaning I deeply value.
