the background of the niggun Yosel: It was composed during the time of the arrest of the Fridiker Rebbe by R' Charitanow... 12-13 Tamuz was actually the day/s of the release of the Fridiker Rebbe but this Niggun expresses the longing for the release and reunion with the Fridiker Rebbe, since it was composed before the release. That is why it is not a joyous melody, although it does express hope and trust in seeing the Rebbe again.
