This wonderful, inspiring melody was a favorite of the fourth Chabad Rebbe, Rabbi Shmuel of Lubavitch, known as the "Maharash." Although he was not the composer, it is known by his name, because he sang it often. It is also called the "Eins-zvei-drai-fier" — one-two-three-four melody. Another name given to it is the Nigun "Ein Sof" (Song of the Infinite).

Yes, the Rebbe called this Niggun by that name in the later years. This was the Rebbe's innovation, long after the publishing of this record. Reply
On 26 Av 5781, I faced one of my biggest fears for the first time ever. Guess which nigun got me through! You guessed it: L'chatchilo Ariber! Now, this nigun is my go-to for just about any stressful situation.
