wouldnt one possible translation also be, since "banchea" has a double meaning?:

For we are Your people, and You are our G-d; We are Your children, and You are our Father.

"בנך" - and I hope I am getting the root right - is also "children" and it is very beautiful how we refer to ourselves to the children and Hashem to our father. Reply

Ki Onu Amecho This volume 1 version is beautiful, ethereal and pure. It is really special and magical and is much better than any other version. It's like a musical version of 'The rebbe's daughter' book. I had no idea Reb Scneerson 'discovered' it until I read your notes but it was obvious to him that this was a very special tune. I play it often on my way to work. Reply
