Pledge cards are distributed to divide the study of Talmud for the next year. The Rebbe pledges to study a Tractate of Talmud and then returns the pen to Rabbi Efraim Eliezer Yalles, Av Beis Din of Philadelphia.

“When will the Master come?” This question was asked of Moshiach by the Baal Shem Tov, founder of Chassidism, during a visit to his chamber On High. “When your Wellsprings (of Chassidism) will spread to the outside,” was Moshiach’s response.
