Could it have been that "70" was a rounded number?
Was "400" [Gn 15:13] a rounded number for "430" [Ex 12:40], or was it just that there was a window of 30 years between when they entered Egypt and when the Egyptians began to enslave and afflict them [Ex 1:6-8]?

It was already explained that 70 was an exact number. Reply
I'm confused. It says that Levi's 3 children are Gershon, K'hos and M'rori.
The very next posuk says Levi's children are Chevron, Machli, Mushi, Korchi.
Please 'splain this to me.
Thanks
The next verse is describing the children of Gershon, Kehas, and Merari. Each grandchild of Levi created their own clan. As Exodus 6 says: "The sons of Gershon: Libni and Shimei, by their families. The sons of Kohath: Amram, Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel; The sons of Merari: Mahli and Mushi."
