Introduction, Moshe is preparing the nation for his death and the transfer of leadership of the nation to Yehoshua! (Ch. 31 verses 1 - 6)

Moshe gives Yehoshua instructions on how to lead the people. He writes a sefer Torah for them. He tells them about the Mitzvah of Hakel, where the king reads from the book of Devarim on Succoth at the end of the 7th year. (Ch. 31 verses 7 - 12)

Continues with Moshe telling the people about the Mitzvah of Hakel, and writing of a Torah Scroll. (Ch. 31 verses 13 - 19)
