Parshas Emor Thank you for a very detailed and insightful overview of the Parshah. I would imagine that it is quite difficult for Kohen (in this day and age) not to be defiled. Obviously a Kohen could unintentionally be defiled i.e. a passing funeral- a dead body in a place that he is obviously unaware of. With Mossiach, all Kohanim will be properly reinstated? Would a mikvah of today be considered a proper "cleansing" if a Kohen should become defiled?
The modern days mikvah is built according to the Talmud laws definitions so in the time of Moshiah, may it come immediately, they will be quite adequate for the Kohanim for cleansing purposes, regarding your question on the proper "cleansing" - there is an Jewish basic belief that in the time of Mashiah the departing from this world will stop and all will be living either extremely long live or even forever
