The High Holidays – Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur
Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year, and Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement, form the High Holidays, also known as the Days of Awe. They are celebrated in the early fall and mark the start of the Jewish Year.

On Simchat Torah, the Torah wants to dance, but lacking the physical limbs with which to do so, it employs the body of the Jew. On this day, the Jew becomes the dancing feet of the Torah.
