| 3Praise Him, sun and moon; praise Him, all stars of the night. |

| 5They shall praise the name of the Lord, for He commanded and they were created. |

היְהַֽלְלוּ אֶת־שֵׁ֣ם יְהֹוָ֑ה כִּ֚י ה֖וּא צִוָּ֣ה וְנִבְרָֽאוּ: |
| 6And He set them up to eternity, yea forever, He issued a decree, which will not change. |
|
ווַיַּֽעֲמִידֵ֣ם לָעַ֣ד לְעוֹלָ֑ם חָק־נָ֜תַ֗ן וְלֹ֣א יַֽעֲבֽוֹר: |
| He issued a decree. to them, that this one should serve by day and that one should serve by night. |

| 7Praise the Lord from the earth, sea monsters and all deeps. |

ענין שואה שקורין ברואינ"ה בלע"ז:

| a storm wind. which performs His word and His mission. Our Sages said (Chag. 12b): These things were originally hidden in Heaven, and David came and brought them down to Earth because they are kinds of punishment, and it is not fitting for them to be hidden in the dwellings of the Holy One, blessed be He. |

רוח סערה.
העושה את דברו ושליחותו, ואמרו רבותינו שהדברים הללו היו תחלתם גנוזים בשמים ובא דוד והורידן לארץ לפי שהם מיני פורעניות ואין נאה להם להיות גנוזין במגוריו של הקב"ה:

| 9The mountains and all the hills, fruit trees and all cedars. |

טהֶהָרִים וְכָל־גְּבָע֑וֹת עֵ֥ץ פְּ֜רִ֗י וְכָל־אֲרָזִֽים: |
| 10Beasts and all cattle, creeping things and winged fowl. |
|
יהַֽחַיָּ֥ה וְכָל־בְּהֵמָ֑ה רֶ֜֗מֶשׂ וְצִפּ֥וֹר כָּנָֽף: |
| 11Kings of the earth and all kingdoms, princes and all judges of the earth. |
|
יאמַלְכֵי־אֶרֶץ וְכָל־לְּאֻמִּ֑ים שָֹ֜רִ֗ים וְכָל־שֹׁ֥פְטֵי אָֽרֶץ: |
| 12Youths and also maidens, old men with young boys, |
|
יבבַּֽחוּרִ֥ים וְגַם־בְּתוּל֑וֹת זְ֜קֵנִ֗ים עִם־נְעָרִֽים: |
| 13Will praise the name of the Lord, for His name alone is powerful; His splendor is on Earth and Heaven. |
|
יגיְהַלְל֚וּ | אֶת־שֵׁ֬ם יְהֹוָ֗ה כִּֽי־נִשְׂגָּ֣ב שְׁמ֣וֹ לְבַדּ֑וֹ ה֜וֹד֗וֹ עַל־אֶ֥רֶץ וְשָׁמָֽיִם: |
| 14He raised up a horn for His people, praise to all His pious ones, to the children of Israel, the people close to Him. Hallelujah! |

ידוַיָּ֚רֶם קֶ֨רֶן | לְעַמּ֡וֹ תְּהִלָּ֬ה לְכָל־חֲסִידָ֗יו לִבְנֵ֣י יִ֖שְׂרָאֵל עַ֥ם קְ֜רֹב֗וֹ הַֽלְלוּיָֽהּ: |
