Wall of candles
Wall of warmth
A strong scent of melting wax fills the corridor
Readying to enter the silent chamber of prayer and tears
A single candle flickers
I knock
I enter
The tears flow

A year later
Shattered halves reunited
Dry bones brought to life
I return to this wall of candles
This time with two in my hand
And my beloved at my side
We knock
We enter
The tears flow

Hearts overflowing
Indescribably grateful
We return to this silent place
Everything here is the same
Our lives have been transformed
My wife lowers the hood of the carriage
The light bothers his sweet little eyes
We face the wall of warmth once more
Three candles in our hands
We knock
He smiles
We enter
The tears mingle
With gurgles of joy
