Shabbat Shalom, Baila!
Your lessons are always encouraging and full of wisdom, TU! Whether before or after: The Deluge, mankind's dispersion after the Tower of Babel, and in spite of mankind's wickedness, GD does not give up on humanity! He believes in the goodness of the "soul" despite the weakness of the flesh, and He instituted measures that seek to keep mankind in right relationship with Him. That is an Extraordinarily Amazing LOVE of which I am humbly grateful! The Psalmist ask, "What is mankind that you are mindful of him. . . ?" [8:4-6]. The "soul" is good, but the flesh is weak. GD is Merciful and full of Grace, is always here to help us, and wants to have a relationship with us. While He seeks us, He also gives us the "freewill" to seek and to walk with Him, and to repair and to restore a broken world. BW!

Wow, what an important lesson to keep us in check!! I liked the way you referred to the current plague of the distraction and loosening of boundaries vis a vis the internet and other unchecked passions to remind us to take responsiblity and rein in that which has become a galloping horse Reply
Thank you for this shiur.
It’s amazing how every lesson in the Torah that was gifted to us thousand’s of years ago is relevant to modern times as well.
