Introduction, Moshe tells the nation not just to listen but also to see, and chose between blessing and curses. (Ch. 11 verses 26 - 28)

Moshe finishes off the ch. with a warning that they should guard and keep all the commandments which G-d has given them. (Ch. 11 verses 29 - 32) Moshe tells them that when they enter the land that they are commanded to destroy all forms of idolatry. In addition they should change the names of the places where idols were worshiped. But there is warning not to do the same to our G-d, never to erase His name.(Ch. 12 verses1 - 7)

Moshe tells the people that they would be allowed to bring their peace sacrifices on private alters only until the land would be divided and G-d would chose a place for his Sanctuary. They private alters would be forbidden.(Ch. 12 verses 8 - 17)

A continuation of the eating and slaughtering meat for personal consumption. (Ch. 12 verses 18 - 23)

the prohibition of eating blood and a warning to only bring sacrificial offerings in the place which G-d would choose. Also not to follow the ways of the nations that were being exiled from the land, and to not serve their idols. (Ch. 12 verses 25 - 31)

Moshe warns the people not follow a false prophet or a dreamer. These people are seen as a test of ones belief in G-d. (Ch. 13 verses 1 - 6)

the laws about a person who incites others to serve idols and his punishment. It then goes on to discuss a city where the majority of the inhabitants serve idols, and their punishment. (Ch. 13 verses 7 - 19)

This chapter begins with the laws of mourning and the prohibition of cutting you flesh or your head as a sign of grief. Continues with the laws of kosher animals and those that are not kosher and what determines if they are kosher or not. (Ch. 14 verses 1 - 8)

Begins with the laws of kosher fish. Continues with kosher birds and a description of non kosher birds. States prohibition of eating any animal that is not ritually slaughtered. We begin the laws of tithing. (Ch. 14 verses 9 - 22)

The Second tithing and the Tithing for the poor. (Ch. 14 Verses 23 - 29)

The chapter begins with the commandment to absolve all debts on the sabbatical, 7th year. The portion continues with the Commandment to help your brother who is destitute with charity, and kind words. (Ch. 15 verses 1 - 8)

The release of any debts at the end of the 7th year. The Mitzvah of giving charity and the laws of the Jewish slave. (Ch. 15 verses 9 - 14)
