Doris Lederberg Eretz Yisroel is the exception to this, for the very reason you gave: The Jews there. America is just among the other nations and nationality. Reply

You just said that American is the most generous country in the world. I beg to differ with you. I live in Jerusalem and I see and believe that Israel is the most generous country in the world. I'm looking at the ratio of what we have here in Israel, and what we give to other nations in terms of helping them when they have a crisis.
Israel gives and gives, it is, as you said, in our Jewish DNA, the kindness gene.
Happy Chanukah. I enjoy your daily Tanya and Chumash, very, very much.
