The calculation is the calculation; it doesn't determine future reality because we're not talking science here. There was a guy who calculated three different dates for the end of the world, two of them occurring in 2012, and all the dates pased and we're still here.
Answer three, the calculation is man's estimate; the coming of the Moshiach is Gd's action and man cannot force His hand by making a calcuilation.

Episode 22 - Part 1 If our calendar has been calculated by our sages until the coming of Moshiach, do we not know then when Moshiach is coming?
