Ba-ruch A-tah Ado-nai E-lo-hei-nu me-lech ha-olam asher ki-deshanu be-mitzvo-tav ve-tzvi-vanu le-hadlik ner shel Shabbat veshel Yom Hah-zee-kah-ron.

What if I forgot to light the candles before sundown on the 22nd . Am I able to light the candles on the 23rd?
When Rosh Hashanah does not coincide with Shabbat, you can light the candles later in the evening, provided you use a flame that was lit before the holiday started (such as a Yahrtzeit candle). And if you forgot to light the first night, you can still light the second night.
