Tanya: Chapter 29 - Part 2 Dear Rabbi Gordon, by reading Tanya with you today I understand that although we have sin in the past and repent, Hashem, blessed be He, accepts our repentance. But, as Tanya explains, one could have sin 50 yrs in the past but as King David said, our sin comes in front of us. This is to imply that we remember with a contrite heart the sin that separated us from our King at that time. It is very painful to know that we once hurt our L-rd, and G-d with our sins. This is the way I feel. I hate the past because I did not know my Heavenly Father then. I did not know Him and His precious statutes. What a great feeling when we get to know Him well. Then our love for him grows more and more everyday. Reply
