 Chaya Rochel Zimmerman is a graduate of Brooklyn College, the University of Maryland, Machon Chana and Bais Rivka Seminary. She lives in Chicago, raised a large family, and devoted her life to Jewish educational projects. Ever mindful of sensitive issues in the community, her recently published novels, Lemons in the Fog and The Next Pair of Shoes, focus on mental illness and the immigrant journey.
