sacrifice by fire Please forgive my apparent arrogance. It is possible to expire trying to know G-d's ecstasy, but to say one expires from knowing it dulls the mind. G-d's ecstasy is maintained by at least the power it takes to make and maintain the universe. G-d exists before time as he does now, before the foundation, I am one, the beginning and the end, before the making of time. All of G-d's power is used in the creation of love, his presence, without form. Our human emotions are limited to time and constrained by form. If a human emotion of fear were to be increased by G-d's power, literally in no time the soul would be transformed into a physical event of living lightning, fire, and be torn from the universe at the speed of light,(time). The body would be consumed by the fire, but the fire is actually the soul being consumed by terror. Therefor you have two deaths, that of the soul, that of the body. The sacrifice by fire gives G-d the right to forgive us if we repent, we cannot earn forgiveness. Reply
