Trampling the "Heel" "Eikev", the truth and revelation found in this Parshah as explained by Rabbi Schochet, O.B.M., speaks to the inherent lessons that seem to define the issues most common throughout my journey. Being strict and on guard for not violating so called "minor Mitzvot" can be more necessary because of not being tempted, spiritually, mentally, physically, or otherwise in our normal day to day lives, creating a false of confidence. This helps to show exactly what is at stake and how active, persistent, and clever "darkness" really is in trying to take it from us.
