Dear Suzi from Orlando.
My name is thomas christopher and I am part jew and part native american by blood. I feel alone sometimes too. I was not raised jewish but recently began learning about the jewish faith culture and people through self study mostly books and internet. I am 39 years old and single. I wonder if I will ever marry? Finding a jewish woman will not be easy but i pray G-d`s will be done. Learning hebrew is harder than i thought but i am learning. I hold the mitzvots dear to my heart. Praying for our people and seeking to be the man that G-d intended. Here I am 1 hr in either direction from the nearest communities so its hard to learn. Do not be afraid. you are not alone. I too worry about being alone. But as long as we have jewish in our blood and lives we are good to others and share knowledge like you have Shared your heart with all of us here, then we arent alone.
Thank you for sharing! You touched me here with your story. Many blessings to you!

6 STEPS
Thank YOU! 1st time listening 2 Chana, thank G-D, this caught my eye, & I listened. 2moro will B 70, so surreal 2 me. In my head I am young, THIS transition is unfathomable 4 me. My good constants are: I am Jewish, female, believe,& want, 2 feel close 2 G-D, as when I was young, I’m filled with love,(4 all good),& grateful,2B Jewish by birth, & by design/choice, & I’m American & free,
Sad constants: I’m alone, no husband, no children, & constantly seek HASHEM. I must be doing badly. It’s a constant struggle 2 feel the closeness 2 HIM, I desire.
First, when I wake, I thank G-D for awakening, & ability 2-use mind, & body. Lastly, B4 sleep, prayers start with thanking HIM 4 my Faith, Family, & Friends. Asking HIM, 2 bring me closer 2 HIM. I'm lost, & unable 2 feel G-D'S presence.
Thank you Chana, I'll keep trying.
Is it possible 2 communicate with you?
Love your teaching process, & kindness. U R special. U affected my life virtuously, & authentically.
Excuse using #s to conserve.

Thank you for this very interesting lesson on parsha Massei. I did not know about the ideas you discussed relating the six cities of refuge with the six constant mitzvot before. Those were fascinating to me.
I searched to find additional information on those six constant mitzvot starting from your reference to the sefer HaChinuck.
I thought some details about where to find a reference for those constant mitzvot might be useful to others looking for this information like I was. One can find the specific six mitzvot in this context listed at the end of the Rabbi author's introductory note, just above Mitzvah 1.
Thanks again for a stimulating class!
