1. Correct! Halacha means "to go" or "a path." More generally, the word halacha refers to Jewish law that is the body of work which teaches a Jew the way to go or the path to follow in observing a life in accordance with the purpose of our creation as defined by our Creator.

Question:
1. What does Halacha mean? Law, a path, the way to go...?
3. Yosef Karo, the author of the halacha we are learning, was instructed by a maggid? Where can we learn more about Reb Karo?
