Rabbi Aryeh Roth spent most of his life in Bnei Brak, Israel, as a dedicated Chassid of Rabbi Yekusiel Yehudah Halberstam, the renowned Rebbe of the Klausenburg dynasty. He passed away on March 28 as a result of complications due to COVID-19.

Roth became a follower of Rabbi Halberstam’s successor after the latter’s passing in 1994.

He spent his final years in Brooklyn, N.Y., becoming a familiar face in the neighborhood of Borough Park.
