Some describe the tzohar of the ark as being a stone that gave forth its own light. When the men building the tower of babel used brick instead of stones, was this a sign they were rejecting the light of G-d? Reply

That is the type of inference that needs a source. It is possible, but it is also possible that bricks were just a better option, able to be made nearby, rather than quarried are shipped in.

Rashi to Genesis 11:3 writes: “bricks, for there are no stones in Babel, which is a plain”. Reply
