I have a couple questions on this portion:
1) Regarding the eye for an eye, and tooth for a tooth: how does rashi know that it’s actually referring to payment (money)?
2) how do we calculate the value of a lost limb today? I understand back in the day when there were slaves, it would be possible to estimate the value with all limbs and then without a limb. But how could we do that today?
