Spiritual Leprocy
Rabbi Goron,
I'm very, very new to studying the Torah and following the Parshas as of this week. In this teaching of the Tazria-Metzora I watched in your class, I believe you stated that spiritual Leprocy manifestation no longer occurs. Can you explain to me why this doesn't happen any longer?
I have truly enjoyed the video teachings and appreciate them very much.

I'm going through this parsha now with Rabbi Gordon's classes and I'm struggling to understand why the Torah goes into such detail with biblical leprosy and all commandments related to it.
For most things that have to do with purity, it seem's like there's much less info in the written torah and we need to look into the oral law to understand further. So why does the Torah pick to go into such detail for this specific section of purity related to lashon hara-(Ieprosy).
