Tallis Katan At what point were Jews wearing a Talis Katan or tzitzis as their daily garb????
While all four cornered garments are required to have Tzitzis, the custom of specially wearing a Tallis Katan is based on a verse in Numbers 15:38-39 which tells Moses to exhort the Children of Israel to "make them throughout their generations fringes in the corners of their garments."
