The Meaning of "Korus/Chorus"
"...means somebody goes childless and dies prematurely"
Dear Rabbi Gordon, would you please explain this. I didn't get it. Todah, Chaya

I just realized that both of the name changes in this week's Parshah mean essentially the same thing. Avram becomes more than (my) "Beloved Father" of a single family, into "Father of Nations". Sarai is no longer "(my) Princess", but Princess to the world.
Today's Tanya portion seems to indicate that during the Diaspora, it is up to all of us to elevate the sparks available, however small, wherever we happen to find ourselves. The sparks are there, whether we can see them or not.
