When Tzaraat ("Leprosy") Takes a Holiday

I hope translators of the Torah will STOP putting "leprosy" in there when it is so wrong. Why do they keep translating this into English as "leprosy"? Surely the translators know better. May we continue closer and closer to truth, with the help of HaShem. Shalom. Reply

On The Day... I'm sorry, but why is, "On the day it APPEARS..." translated as "on the day it is SEEN" (so that it is concluded that it is not checked every day)? Doesn't "On the day" show the importance of catching it on the very day it "appears", and not that you are free to not catch it on the day it appears (so that it is checked every day)?

Just a sort of "common-sense" question, though I recognize some things are not "common sense"... Reply

Nowadays Rabbi New said that the people used to be far more elevated.

I also heard a Rabbi say that there used to be an extraordinary (above, and unlike, what it is currently--specifically since before the destruction of the second Temple) effect of/help from the spirit of G-d among the Jews.
Will you please tell me where is that is written again? Reply
