Kosher I used to wonder why there was a Kosher section; because I wasn't raised Jewish. I thought it was maybe needless worry. Now, I choose to be religiously Jewish; and have learned that Kosher means you care about the health and well being of people more than the rest of humanity; and you are concerned with the animals emotional state / pain level (it's child seeing it happen) etc. It is interesting; and I just want you to know I appreciate the study of non harm. I have bought Kosher foods for Pesach; but not routinely - more costly? Could one maybe pay a set fee to the temple for membership; and they would help you obtain Kosher foods based on income??
