REAL struggles in life... does the jew question his/her meals if it comes from a soup kitchen?
does the jew fuss over kosher blessings for food...when there is no food?
when the jew and his family are starving...what becomes more important...
the food....or the blessing? I think of the stock market crash, I think of WWII when the jews were herded like cattle onto those trains...and I think of blessings, and what they mean...and how those jews felt, when faced with REAL life struggles.
doubtfull blessings? everyday...is an uncertain struggle.
