But if with Abraham and Isaac, HaShem ended an era of human sacrifices, is it not feasible that when the Temple comes again to Jerusalem, He will say, "Okay, enough with animal sacrifices, that was another era" ???? Reply

We are uncomfortable with animal sacrifice because we have no appreciation for it. When Moshiach comes our perception and appreciation for mitzvos will deepen, including the mitzvos relating to animal sacrifice. Reply

The verse never departs from its simple meaning, however there are deeper meanings and allegories within each letter of the Torah. Until we are able to offer the daily sacrifices at the Beis HaMikdash again, we will study the laws of the offerings and ask HaShem to regard our words as the daily offering.
