The Census... Does the fact that the number of people remained the same, imply that the coming of age rate equaled the number of adults killed by the Levites after the Golden Calf incident?...or, should we assume that most of those who were killed were 'other than the children of Israel'? Without some accounting for the death of thousands, the 'census year does not make sense to me. Reply

Are you saying that repetitions in the Torah are irrelevant?
