Yaldah Magazine, the start-up publication founded by 17-year-old Leah Larson – her story was featured on Chabad.org’s The Jewish Woman – won the $100,000 grand prize in Wells Fargo’s “Someday Stories” contest.
Some 28,880 people chose the venture, which caters to teenage Jewish girls, among five finalists in online voting.
Larson plans to use the money to publish three Yaldah books and launch an advertising campaign to expand the magazine’s readership. …
