A private philanthropic foundation has given Rabbi Hershey Novack, co-director of Chabad on Campus serving Washington University in S. Louis, a $10,000 grant to establish programs for students who have traveled to Israel as part of the free Taglit-birthright israel family of trips.

Novack’s goal is to advance college students engagement with Israel and Judaism after they return to their campuses.
