No Words

Dear Friends,

There are no words. Frightening images that conjure up memories of a dark past. The image of Jewish men, crowned in tallit and tefillin, lying dead in cold blood. Prayerbooks stained with Jewish blood…

To our beloved brothers and sisters, the Goldberg, Kupinsky, Levine and Twersky families: Our entire nation weeps along with you. The terrorists did not kill your loved ones because they knew them. They did it because they wanted to kill Jews. When they stabbed your beloved family members, they stabbed each and every one of us. And we all mourn with you. May their souls be gathered up in the bundle of life, and may they intercede on High for you, and for all of Israel.

Let us continue to pray for those who are still fighting for their lives; may G‑d send them a speedy and complete recovery!

And to those in the seat of power, I share the question we all ask: How much longer can this go on? Is it not high time to finally ensure true safety and security throughout the Holy Land?

"Palestinian shot dead and house in Gaza bulldozed" I read these two headlines in the less censored news before I read about five Jews being exploded in a synagogue. Perhaps those events had more to do with terror than the defense of one's homeland. Now I wait for you to censor this for not being what you want to hear. Reply

It was truly heartbreaking to read news, yet again, of the slaughter of innocent Jews in Israel last week.Religious folk, engaged in prayer in a holy place.

Another victim of the mindless barbarism was the Israeli policeman - Zidan Saif.
Zidan left a young wife and seven-month-old daughter.
Zidan is a hero of Israel, but he was not Jewish, he was a member of the Druze community, a monotheistic religious group that integrates with and respects the other religions and the cultures and lifestyle of their host nation.

May his soul and the souls of all victims rest in eternal peace and may their families find comfort in the support and love of all peace-loving peoples of all faiths.

Massacre in Jerusalem My heart was ripped with deep sadness when I heard and watched. Please know my very heavy soul lifts prays up to yours and now my G-D. I am now like Ruth took G-D and His people as mine. G-d in His timing will have His purpose in this to. My family

My heart sank when the news broke here in London . The pictures will never be forgotten in my mind, stained with the colour of red. The aftermath of witnessing the Torah on the floor with the spirit of the brave on it. How dare they do this thing, I also pray for the families & for the state of our people to stand tall, be firm & never cower to these animals. The whole world who love Yisrael is bleeding as well, even a prick of blood against our people is too much. Hashem will not allow them to conquer . Reply

There are also the Righteous Christians, who during the 2nd World War risked their lives by shielding Jews from the Nazis. I'm sure that if you could, you would have been one of them.

It seems our collective Tikkun has and always will be creating 'shalom'----in arabic---salaam. The 'salam' in JeruSALEM. I love the way our tradition teaches us to study. To ask deep questions. To look at something from all sides. It seems on the issue of the Palestinians, however, we revert to black and white baby thinking that suits our more nationalistic dream. It is just a fact that the human rights violations of our brothers and sisters in the West Bank, East Jerusalem and Gaza are deplorable. They are being squeezed with one Kafkaesque bureaucratic maze of indignation after another. Hard to hear. But true. Under this way, the violence will only continue. On both sides. Abraham and Sara opened their tent on all four sides. They invited all walks of life into their dream of One Love. Abraham humbly and respectfully requested permission to buy a cave from the people of Hebron to bury Sarah. He pleaded with G-d not to destroy Sodom and G. Fantastic examples! Reply

I am not a Jew, I am a Christian by background but I come here often to read the Rebbes and comments. I will pray for the following and I hope this also speaks to Jews.

That Israel is accepted by the Muslim world as a Jewish majority state and becomes the light of democracy it seeks to be in the middle east.

That the Israelis and Palestinian Arabs can achieve a peace that allows them, in time, to move towards friendship.

That the terrible suffering of those in the Middle East, especially the Syrians and Iraqis, is eased and brought to an end.

That we recognise G-d made us in his own image and gave us free will so that we could know each other, and in so doing, know him and be unshackled from the bonds of fear, hatred and prejudice..

These may seem far off, but in G-d all things are possible, and good will win. Always. Reply

I have no words for this horrible pogrom.it shakes four soul your foundation as a human being. I can only think of the fate of the ten holy martyrs,in Roman time persecution and I pray , beg Hashem to annul all harsh decrees on Your people, Israel.
They have attacked the Heavenly Throne, it is most serious, they are Amalek.
We need to be very united, together, with unconditional love and pray around the clock. Hashem should have mercy, May Hashem heal all our hearts and specially the heart of their
