Rabbi Akiva says that, "To love your fellow as yourself" is a great basic principle of the Torah. (Leviticus 19:18, Midrash)

As we work hard to make ourselves better people, we should not forget about our friends and neighbors. As Rabbi Akiva said, we should love our fellow just like ourselves, That s the main point of what we learn. And so, if we are lucky enough to be able to learn Torah, we should also work just as hard to help our Jewish friends, so that they can learn Torah too.
