A Gentleman and a Scholar

In 1947, the Rebbe flew to Paris to escort his mother to the United States after her escape from the Soviet Union. While there, he visited a small Yeshiva outside Paris where Rabbi Yaakov Holtzman was a student. Later, in New York, he worked in the Rebbe’s household.
