Rabbi Meir Grunberg, Av Beis Din of Igud Harabbanim visits the Rebbe.

We do not make a blessing on the recitation of the Haggadah at the Seder, because we have it in mind during the Shehechiyanu during Kiddush. We also have in mind then the Burning of the Chametz from earlier in the day. But don’t forget the simple meaning of the blessing: That we thank G-d for sustaining us to reach this occasion.

Remembering the Exodus..... Obviously an excellent and poignant point. We should give thanks, To The Holy One, Blessed Be His Name, for having reached this era in history. And to be certain that we read the Haggadah, the tellings of The Exodus, with rememberance not only through our words but as if we have lived through the Exodus ourselves. Most impressive to me, in this day when peace amognst our community may not always be where it should be, the continuous blessings these two men wished for each other. Again. And Again. And Again. I am very appreciative of our Tradition, of our Community, of our Rabbi and most importantly, to The Holy One, Blessed Be His Name for every new day. Gut Yom Tov !! Zei Gezunt !! Reply
